Trip Itinerary (tentative)Wednesday August 10thArrive in Recife 3:10 pm Afternoon: Arrive in Gloria do Goita for Welcome Ceremony Go to SERTA Evening: Dinner at SERTA, set up rooms, and rest. Rogerio will spend this night at SERTA with us, so that he can ensure we are settled properly. Thursday August 11th Morning: Tour of SERTA, explanation of facilities, and projects, and some shows/demonstrations Afternoon: Go to Santa Rita School. Tour and meet students. Evening: More Welcome Ceremonies Friday August 12th Travel to Feira Nova and Limoeiro Morning: Pontes de Miranda School in Feira Nova. Watch some shows. Afternoon: Travel to Limoeiro to visit the American English Course CCAA. There will be some shows. Evening: Interview at Goiatacaz Club ( you and your students will be answering questions and curiosities about your country) Saturday August 13th Travel to Recife and Olinda Morning: Shopping and touring in Recife. Lunch will be here. Afternoon: Travel to Olinda. Tour the historic sights. Evening: Rest Sunday August 14th Morning: English lessons at Santa Rita School from 8:00 to 11:30 Afternoon: Soccer tournament Evening: Participating in a party offerred by Ivanise, principal of the Quick and Easy, an English course in Glória do Goitá. Monday, August 15th (holiday in Glória do Goitá) Travel to Vitória Morning: Tour of Vitória. Visit the Monte das Tabocas, a place very important for the history of Pernambuco. There the people of Pernambuco have fought against the Dutch. Visit the Pontencial School (Johnny works there). There will be some shows and interviews. Afternoon: Participate in a lunch offerred by the Pontencial School. Evening: Participate in a Festival in Glória do Goitá Tuesday, August 16th Morning: English lessons at Santa Rita School from 8:00 to 11:30 Afternoon: English lessons at Santa Rita School from 3:00 to 4:40 Evening: Participate in a dinner offerred by the American English course CCAA in Limoeiro. Wednesday, August 17th Morning: English lessons at Santa Rita School from 8:00 to 11:30 Afternoon: English lessons at Santa Rita School from 3:00 to 4:40 Evening: Participate in a music meeting at Goiatacaz Club at 7:30 Thrusday, August 18th Morning: English lessons at Santa Rita School from 8:00 to 11:30 Afternoon: English lessons at Santa Rita School from 3:00 to 4:40 Evening: Learn how to dance quadrilha at Goiatacaz Club to participate in a June Festival on August 22 at Santa Rita School.
